Cochon555 Coming to LA


This Sunday, the Cochon555 Tour is heading to LA.  Five heritage pigs, five chefs, five winemakers – all coming together to raise money and awareness for heritage breed pigs and family farming. And we are giving away two VIP tickets to this one of a kind event, value $200 each!

The founders of Cochon555 are dedicated to supporting family farmers and educating chefs and diners about the agricultural importance of utilizing old world livestock.  All monies raised go to support Piggy Bank, a non-profit sanctuary that provides heritage breed stock to new farmers or farms that are in need.

Cochon555’s culinary tour is making 14 stops across the US this year. The tour culminates in Chicago on October 1, where the winners from each city compete in the finale.

    What an incredible event! I really appreciate the respect that is given to the animals and the care that goes into their preparation by the chefs. Also, the support that is offered to and for the farming community is incredibly important.

    This sounds amazing – responsibility in our consumption is something we need, especially when establishment authority is being anything but! If we aren’t responsible, no one will be! Best of luck to all the chefs! (Pick me I’m a poor student, haha!)

    Okay, so in my bio I literally have this quote, “Basically, it’s a pig problem I have”, as in, I love everything “pig”! It’s the reason I could never be vegetarian! This would be such a great event to be able to attend, and I LOVE that it’s for charity!! Thanks for sharing the info!

    Pigs and Punch! This is an event I would normally be at, but the price tag…whew! I especially would like to cheer on the bartenders in the punch competition.
