Earth Day Celebrations With Boulder Canyon Chips

boulder canyon chips

April 22 will mark the global celebration of Earth Day, started in 1970 by US Senator Gaylord Nelson after observing the devastation of the 1969 Santa Barbara oil spill. Growing up on the west coast just south of Santa Barbara, I can recall how ‘normal’ it was to come home after a day on the beach and clean the tar off my feet.

After 37 years, Earth Day is now the largest secular observance in the world, celebrated by more then a billion people! Often it is the time of policy change and a day of community action.  (With cuts to the EPA, the importance of Earth Day is more relevant then ever!)

I don’t know about you but I like to celebrate just about anything with food! And I have such a weakness for salty snacks, don’t you?  But I try to stay healthy, so finding the right brand is important. On top of that, I’m also starting to cut down on gluten.  (I know I would feel better if I could cut it out altogether, so baby steps…) Well, I honestly feel like Boulder Canyon Kettle Chips are the answer to all my snacking wishes!

And they are partnering up for a giveaway!

Boulder Canyon was started by two brothers who wanted to bring a healthier chip to the market place. I love that the ingredients are usually nothing more then potatoes, a healthy premium oil, and sea salt. Some have additional flavoring, but that’s essentially it! And they are non-gmo and have no trans fat. Plus they are gluten free, vegan and kosher!!! Make sure to check out the Boulder Benefits area on the back of the bag.

I love their tag line: “Live better.  Eat Boulder.”

Boulder Canyon Foods is teaming up with Farm to Table in recognition of Earth Day, so you can try the eco-friendly better-for-you snack for yourselves.  Three lucky winners will receive a coupon for free product.  My fav?  The Sour Cream and Chives and Hickory Barbecue, and my hubby can’t wait to get his hands on the Coconut Oil Pineapple Habanero! Check out this variety pack too! I think that’s what I need!

{This giveaway is brought to you by Boulder Canyon Foods.  All opinions are my own, however. Thank you for supporting the sponsors that support Farm to Table.}

    We celebrate Earth Day every day of the year! My family recycles, re-uses, donates, uses fabric bags, composts, re-use rainwater as well as conserving water and electricity in our home. We pick up trash in our neighborhood and at the beach.
