Glass Jars for Pantry Supplies

glass jars for pantry supplies

This project was long over due… putting my pantry supplies into glass jars.

I wanted desperately to get my grains and some other items out of their plastic packaging and visually these bottles are so much nicer to look at then cardboard boxes, don’t you think?  Glass jars are a great way to keep your pantry items fresh, out of plastic containers, pantry-moth free… and they look good! You could use any glass jars but I choose Weck jars.  They have so many sizes to choose from, giving me plenty of options from everything from my baking soda to my bags of flour, rice, sugar, etc…  I purchased jars from their cylindrical collection.  The straight sides and lack of bulky hinge clasps allows me to stack them all in the pantry, side by side.

I found these great chalkboard stickers to label everything too! You can find some at Paper Source.
