I recently had a conversation with someone about juicing.  He juices everyday and hates it.  But he does it.  I told him I didn’t know what he was juicing, but I loved my juices.  I suggested adding a few things like apples to add a hint of natural sweetness. Judging by the look on his face it was a bit of a revelation!  Yes, you can apples to green juices.  It’s okay.  Add what ever you want!  Right?  What do you add?  Here is my latest…

Green Juice with Apple

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Serving Size: 1 serving

Green Juice with Apple


  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 2 Tbs chopped parsley
  • 1 apple
  • 1 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1 cup spinach


  1. Throw it in the juicer, drink, rinse and repeat

    Great photos and recipe. I have just started juicing. Sometimes I add in celery and mint to a recipe similar to yours. I’m just getting a feel for what to do, so I like to see how others are doing it too. Thanks for sharing.

      Hi Dana, Yes celery is an awesome juicing veggie. I use that often. It’s nice to mix it up and I often just pull what’s in the fridge and mix it up.
