Melon Blackberry Salad

melon blackberry salad

This fruit salad uses the French Morning Melon I got at the farmers market recently. The taste combo between cantaloupe and honeydew is a sweet counterpart to the tarter blackberries.  Add a hint of ginger, lime and mint and you have a mouthwatering summer salad.

If you can’t find French Morning Melon, you can easily substitute any cantaloupe or honeydew variety for your own Melon Blackberry Salad.  This melon is from the Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark.  Use organic or sustainably grown produce whenever possible.
