Watermelon Margaritas

This gets my vote as official drink of Labor Day Weekend.  What a great way to do a summer send off! (Of course, this would also be a great drink to celebrate the beginning of summer… or any day in between, really!)

Just freeze some watermelon overnight and your margarita will be perfectly chilled.

Add the other usual suspects…lime juice, tequila and a bit of sugar and blend it up.

Take one of the left over juiced limes, and wipe the rim of your glass with the juices. Dip the rim of the glass in a saucer of sugar to add a nice touch. Add a lime slice or a piece of watermelon for garnish.

Watermelon Margaritas: a delicious party drink for your weekend BBQ!  (By the way, this is also a great thing to make if you end up having too much leftover watermelon. Just cut the extra watermelon into chunks and freeze them. Then it can be summer any time! You’re welcome!)
